Mural Art
As a Philadelphia Native, I have
been spoiled with the many creative
gifts this beautiful city offers.

This gallery displays the many varied
forms of Wall Art/ Murals found
around the city.

Graffiti, Portraits, Abstract and
Inspirational works are painted on
many buildings from downtown Phllly
to the inner city communities.

October is National Mural Month.
Join me on this visual arts adventure
into the city of Brotherly Love.

MOSIAC

I can feel the night crawl
over my skin
like a thousand spider legs
I wanted to feel you instead
on the outside
I am cold, frozen, raw
but inside I burn
scattered, feverish
my fingers flying over a page
trying to capture existence
but the words blur
my mind caught in freeze-frame
a mosaic of nicotine puffs
and exhaustion spread limbs
I tried to write of love
but couldn't remember the syllables
much less how to feel
the words just came out shrink-wrapped
sanitized and hygienic when
I wanted a kaleidoscope of
dirty words and steamy passion
I craved to make the vowels misbehave
shifting them in lust soaked distortion
I wanted to feel intensity
instead of an overload of empty emotion\
the pain bled across the page
as the smoke penetrates.
